During my time as a graphic designer at Vinton Studios, I had the opportunity to work on some fun projects, in addition to the standard letterhead and business card stuff. It was very cool having illustration, cg and stop motion animation all in the same house, and because of the type of company it was, I had more creative latitude than many in their first design position. These are just a few samples of some of the things I worked on that were more on the whimsical side.

Cover and inside design layout for the 2000 Oregon Media Production Company. Cover concept was a collaborative effort with Patrick Kenney. Logo design, layout and and typography were my own.

This is the front panel from a 2 fold promotional brochure featuring the character Thurgood Stubbs from the tv show "The Pjs.". I was responsible for the entire process from original concept through to relationships with the printing vendors. The foamation puppet was posed and photographed, then the logo and shadow effects were added in Photoshop. Text layout in Adobe Illustrator.

With this job I was given a lot of individual photographic elements for the Clorox label, and their type face on disk. from that I worked with a photograph of a bleach bottle alone on green screen, then added the label elements, shadows, cap ridge and highlight details in Photoshop. A print was made from the digital file, and attached to the billboard prop that is behind the cg characters.

Official logo of the toymaking elves at the north pole in the 1997 tv Christmas special, "Ozzy the Elf."
This was a graphic for an Animation Camp slide presentation, supposed to represent the primordial goo of interesting things that happen when animation, story and design come together.
