The six textures on this page are from various
projects. All were created using Photoshop. Scroll down to see
all six with descriptions.
top - hummingbird body diffuse
map, Lighwave commerical bid.
second down - street
and sidewalk surface, Matrix Reloaded.

third down - corrugated
rooftops, Matrix Reloaded.

fourth down - center section
from large brick wall destruction map. I was given an existing
texture for a "clean" brick wall, and a texture showing
full destruction, and asked to paint the middle 4 frames to
animate the cracking patterns. The images below are frame 2
thru frame 4 in a sequence of six painted that was
projected onto animated geometry. The modeler modeled the
cracks based on the cracking textures I painted, so that as
the wall broke apart, the map fit perfectly to the modeled
destruction. The final also had bump and specular
maps. This was created for The Matrix Revolutions



fifth down - Diffuse
map for the metal pole Neo
used as a staff against the multitudes of Agent Smith in the
Burly Brawl, Matrix Reloaded.

bottom - specular
map from soda
cans used as cg set dressing in
Catwoman.
